In short: Only 1 More Hill........Promise?!
In full: First time I've run this course. It was a toughish route but Possibly a PB course if the conditions were right, although not for me as was a bit apprehensive about the Hills I was told about. They were never ending. Even on the downhill from The Ridge to seafront there were a few dropped it just a a reminder but nonetheless a very enjoyable route with fantastic support. Crowd made you feel like you were in the leading group all the way round! Well done Hastings!

In short: PB All The Way!!
In full: This is the second time I've run this race (previously Sussex Beacon) and I ran PB's both times! Nice flat course with fantastic support especially around by the Pier which is great motivation for getting you over that finish line that seems to take forever to cross! The only qualm I had was with the 1 or 2 of the marshals on the seafront. I saw a Pregnant lady try and cross the road during the race and ended up getting bumped into by 2 people. The marshal could have been a bit more on the ball but didn't seem to bother by the incident. This wasn't fair on the group of runners who all had to slow to avoid the incident and to the woman who was heavily pregnant (she was fine by the way). Having said this, it was an isolated incident and from what I saw the rest of the marshalling was very good. On the whole, a very enjoyable day for runners and spectators and I'll definately be there next year!!

In short: 10k.......Are you Sure??!
In full: Good organisation, very friendly, great views, real X terrain course. Not sure as to who measured it though? The last K was more like 2k! Not great if you're pacing yourself for the 10 as it was a bit of a shock! Nonetheless, I would happily run it again and more than likely will. Can't believe there weren't more people there to run it!!
