In short: Fantastic
In full: Better signage this year, I didn't get lost once! Missed the water station at Branston though.

The weather was almost perfect, could the organizers please change the wind direction next year ;)

Well done and thanks to all involved.

In short: Hardest race ever!
In full: Really enjoyed this, tougher than a road marathon. Could have done with more water stations though. Excellent goody bag included tech t-shirt.

In short: Fantastic!
In full: I've done this 3 times now. The cakes at the end are delicious. They shoud rename it Three Lakes and Cakes! The £5 entry is far too cheap.

In short: Ran the whole course with a great big grin on my face!
In full: Thouroughly enjoyed this one. The bluebells in the woods and the view across the lake form the high point at the 8k point made it for me.

In short: This race will wipe the floor with the GNR one day!
In full: I thought the organization was fantastic.

I got to the Stadium at 7.15 and had over 2 hours to kill. I went and sat down inside the stadium with about 20 others and calculated that there are about 6,000 seats, so everyone could have sat down. Then 20 minutes later some 'jobsworth' said 'you can't sit there!' and promptly moved us on.

There were about 10 coaches at Cambridge Street at 7am ready to take runners to the start.

I found the course very challenging with the ups and downs-we don't do hills in Lincolnshire!!!

My Suunto measured an altitude of 285 feet at around the 11 mile mark with the finish at 144 feet above the start.

If they bought the race forward, say 3 weeks and got national TV coverage they will wipe the floor with the GNR.

Well done Birmingham!
