In short: An enjoyable, friendly, motivating multi-lap course
In full: This race was the first of Northampton Running Festival. A mix of 10k, half marathon and marathon runners which was a bit of a challenge keeping your pace. Unfortunately not enough toilets at the start and there was a bit of a queue.

I was surprised on how much I enjoyed the lap repeats. Everyone was very motivational and friendly supporters throughout the race and the bobble collection was a lot smoother than I expected. Nice T-shirt and medal - would go back next year as good valley for money and only an hour away.

In short: Great Race - Great Goodie Bag
In full: Great organisation, great marshalls, lots of water stations, free gels, free sweets, a great goodie bag at the end; a cheese sandwich, banana, crisps, penguin and some chocolate McVities things and water/energy drink. Also a great sweattop too!!! Well worth it :)

However - there was mention of toilets at 10 miles, when in fact there was just the one, with a queue. A little disappointing in this. Especially as there was a big 'no no' to no peeing in Packington. Could do with more than 1 toilet half way round for a field of near on 1000.
All in all a great day.

In short: Challenging but great race - and great marshalls!
In full: Loved the race, very very challenging - lots of hills. Well organised and the marshalls were superb all the way round. Would definitely recommend this as a Spring Marathon training race. Will be back next year!

In short: Well Organised Race, maybe a bit professional for beginners
In full: Never done this race before, organisation was good and enough loos which is always a positive. Marshalls were friendly and encouraging all round the course and plenty of water stations.
A little undulating so a good challenge (now know need to do more hill-work)
The only thing that would put me off was there more club runners than any of the other Half Marathons I've been too and if its your first half can be a bit intimidating but everyone seemed friendly enough.
