In short: Great route and runners. Let down by hosts organisation
In full: A great run route. A really good challenge especially in the heat but enough woodlands and shade to keep you going. No water stop was a bit punishing. Didnt seem like the place could have handled any more than the 300 or so runners that took part partly due to parking and partly due to the size of concrete playground all were restricted to (was very congested so not fun for the kids). A big issue was some kind of route mix up at about 5 miles.

In short: A great multi-terrain 10k. A very enjoyable run.
In full: Great route - mix of up-hill / down-hill and flat.

Compete once and you will look fwd to this run each year. The course is one of the areas finest.

Not a fan of the tie on race chips and there was a problem with inaccurate race times on site though this was resolved quite quickly.

In short: Lovely area and multi terrain route with PB potential
In full: A great race for 1st time 10K runners with enough onsite to keep family entertained whilst you run.
A lovely route very close to the historical town of Wallingford. The multi terrain, picturesque race route has no problems and no hills. Any single file areas pose no problems so long as you positioned yourself in the correct line up for your race time. The disposable timing chip/bands worked a treat and the self access to the race times database onsite was a nice touch.

In short: A great run if you're a 1st timer for a half or looking for a PB.
In full: Loved this run. Bag handling was amazing. No queues for toilets. No big queues for drinks or food. Space to get changed was a little bit of a hindrance but no big deal. Start lines were a bit chaotic. No easy access to predicted start time area unless you arrived very early. Required one to jump fence to get in the correct area. You need to be at the front of your predicted start time area in order to get a PB and not get delayed by the many many ppl clearly in the wrong start zones. Finishing in the Madejski football stadium was a great touch.

In short: A nice run that puts your training to the test
In full: A rural road run with plenty of space after the somewhat compressed start and no bottlenecks. A good mix of downhill - uphill. You will need to have done some hill work prior to this run as this 1 lap course will test your training.
