In short: First year back ,good but will improve with more years under its belt In full: Being the first year staged after along absence there was always going to be a few sticking points. For me this was very enjoyable. I admit not the best of scenery and I know the area well. There was one Marshall who should of being watching for traffic rather than reading texts on her I- phone but overall the Marshalls were very encouraging and helpfull . The supporters that were around the course did well to add atmosphere including a couple of people in houses that came out to see what was going on and then added their vocal support. The finishing straight did seem a little strange despite the fact in didn't hinder me I did think there could of been a better finishing route. The goody bag which means a lot to some was of a good standard and the facilities changing rooms toilets supervised baggage area all of a good or better than usual standard. I will be back and expect to see this race get better each year in terms of organisation and support but it will only do so if everyone gets behind it. Many thanks for an enjoyable race.
In short: enjoyable race ,quick course and good value In full: A local race for me well organised by the team that run the black park park run.flatish course apart from one minor incline.Atmosphere amoungst runners , marshells and spectators very friendly. Will be back again next year. Date of review: October 3, 2011

In short: Enjoyable run with a challenge or two In full: This was the second year I've run this race as it's fairly local. The course runs through a golf course starting and finishing on an office park. The genral route takes you round many bends and various undulations. The hardest comes at 7k but is not a real killer, just a suprise, as you do not see it coming until you start up it. The Marshals did a good job and most were encouraging. A bigger turn out this year however a pity more people do not attend this friendly, well run and enjoyable event.I will be back again next year without a doubt. Date of review: April 25, 2011
In short: well organized and enjoyable 10k In full: Well organized event. Nice warm up route to the start line.Marshells gave good clear instructions and very good support. Fast course managed to get a P.b. Although the roads were not closed to cars the traffic was not a problem. Date of review: October 3, 2010
In short: enjoyable morning In full: The race was well organised, plenty of signs. The marshals were very encouraging and enthusiastic. The route was alot more hilly than I thought which kept me on my toes wondering what was round the corner. A new pb made it all the more worthwhile. Will be back next year.
