In short: Tougher than last year (marathon review)
In full: New stone had made the tracks in the second half much rougher than last year, which coupled with the sun gave things a brutal feel.
Great day out though with no.1 son doing the bike course as well.

In short: Another cracker!
In full: Hard race in tough weather. Great blitz spirit out on the trails with people helping each other out. Beware of the bog!

In short: Full marks for not cancelling
In full: Trail running at its scary best (was it fell running?) Brutal at times but flowing at others, the course had probably had 36 hours of rain on it before the start but wasn't actually too bad. Hope everyone finished before the tennis.

In short: Lovely race.
In full: I guess the parking at avebury was odd due to the wet fields, apart from that I was really impressed with the organisation of this event.
Lots of water stations with happy people and a really nice route which threatened hillyness but often took you on the least steep route. Great stuff.

In short: Fun for all the familly
In full: Nice testing terrain, the sports village was inspiring (and inspired my kids too which was good), the 5k and kids race option are very much appreciated.
Signage on arrival by car could be better, but thats a really minor niggle. Lovely day.

In short: Flippin' epic!
In full: Big thanks and respect to the organisers, this is a very ambitious race to stage and they do it very well.
I heard the word 'brutal' used a lot at the finish and most folks had taken a tumble or two out on the rocky welsh trails.
I'm already looking forward to next year having learned the route the hardway this year, (getting lost!).
See you all next year.

In short: Excellent race
In full: Some improvements this year on an already very good race, the extra water station was great and a goody bag with seasonal event beanie! triffic.
Good event for running famillies.

In short: Tough
In full: Great route, lovely relaxed start area, really hard hills but the ups were always rewarded with exhilarating downs. Plenty of water stations. I too was confused at the finish, I seemed to cross the line and then be in a shop?! (I was pretty dopey though).
Really nice medal, crap T-shirt.

In short: Very good for the whole familly.
In full: Easy to find, easy to park, nice toilets, cafe, playpark next to the start, multi laps good for spectators and plenty of marshalls, all in all not too bad at all! Very soft course as well, nice on the joints.
Water at the finish would have been nice, maybe there was and I missed it.
