In short: varied, scenic & challenging course
In full: Truly a multi-terrain race with road, firm bridleways & slippy mud. Some tough hills as you make your through the very scenic course. Good value & a nice tech t-shirt at the end.

Only gripe would be the presentations took an age to get started

In short: A good first effort
In full: Considering the awful weather, they did well to put the event on.

Crowded in the stadium at the start & the finish was a little unclear. Given better weather almost all the problems would have been non existent. Who really cares about a goody bag???

Marshalls were great & support on course incredible. Fast & flat course, good times to be had.

This could become a great alternative to VLM

In short: Well organised race, with pb potential
In full: There was a but of a queue upon arrival for timing chips, but this actually moved fairly quickly and was no problem, had no other problems with baggage or loos. Little bit of a walk to the school from the drop off point but hardly a cause for complaint. I thought the whole event was well organised.

The course itself was mildly challenging, a few inclines but nothing too tough, and of course a few quicker downhill sections to compensate, especially from 9 to 10 miles.

I took over a minute off my PB so it is possible to achieve some good times.

In short: Fast but interesting course
In full: Crowded start heading through a gate, but once out on the road this a fun race. The first 5k is flat followed by a couple of inclines that are challenging but far from terrifying. Followed by a nice steady descent back towards the finish. Lots of marshalls all the way round, probably the most i have seen in a race.

In short: Challenging course, very well organised
In full: Good course heading out of watford and into the countryside. Some tough hills but nothing really nasty. Cannot fault the organisation & supportive marshalls
