In short: Flat and well organised, would recomend In full: Well organised and as flat as it was promised to be. The loops were actually nice as you get to see the front runners a couple of times. I did it in 1:38 and only came across a couple of tail enders so no problem with mixed paces on different laps. Couple of slight inclines in the last 3 miles but nothing to take the shine off a very flat route. It was warm but loads of water stops with cups of water and a nice touch with sponges. Plenty of Marshalls and signs. The only thing to watch out for is the queues to get into the amply parking. The roads are narrow and the organises do what they can but it takes time to get the cars in. The station is very close so if you can take the train.
I'll be back next year if I can. Date of review: June 11, 2012
