In short: Is it ALWAYS cold in Bungay?!? In full: Really well organised, plenty of toilets, great marshalling, friendly and encouraging. Course has a couple of hills, including a killer at the beginning and another at the end, for that extra challenge. Date of review: November 6, 2011

In short: Left me buzzing all day In full: The wind was biting when we left the business park but after the fist km I'd forgotten about being cold. Beautiful route, my first race off the road and I am a complete convert. Excellent marshalls, really well organised race with personal touch at the finish as the PA mentioned runners by name and the spectators we're generous with applause. Overall, a really excellent experience. I agree about the toilets though; one runner near me must have thought the queue was too long because he veered off into the trees and was rummaging in his shorts... luckily we ran past before the Big Reveal :) Date of review: April 11, 2010

In short: Very friendly marshalls and organisers, wish the people ahead checked before they spat, though. In full: I haven't done a race for years, so it was like being a beginner again. I quite liked the mud! And I set a new PB, even with the hill at the end. The cramped start/finish restricted the spectators' view which was a shame, and I wasn't quite sure where the finish line was. Nice HQ where my partner and the children could have a brew and a chat whilst they waited. Date of review: January 24, 2010
