In short: An amazing race for a great cause. Nothing too fancy and had a very local touch.
In full: An amazing race for a great cause. Nothing too fancy and had a very local touch. This was a race which was challenging at times, the weather made it spectacular. There were some hills which made sure you worked hard to get to the finish. The marshals were friendly and offered support which really helped. I will be sure to be back next year.

In short: No hidden suprises, a great race.
In full: Well it does what it says on the tin. You run up and down 5 zig zags over a curse of 10km. There were fast runners and not so fast runners. A good atmosphere. A small race with only 150 runners but this is good because everyone is there because they like running. Marshals were friendly too and had a laugh along the way. Manageed to get a PB knocking 2 mins of my previous time and i think that is down to the size of the race (My last PB was at the Bournemouth Bay 10km with thousands of runners).

In short: Muddy, Cold, Hilly, Very Hilly but a good fun 10 miler
In full: Well this was my first ever organised race and the word "challenge" is very true. Starting with a cold dip in a river/stream the first Hill was hard work but ok.

5 miles in and then your hit with the second nd third official "hills" but there is an unofficial one too. They are steep and very muddy with the previous weeks rain.

If you are thinking of doing it i'd say do lots and lots of hill work togeter with endurance and you may just survive.

A good race in my eyes.
