In short: Certainly not flat, but a great race, lovely atmosphere. I'll be back!
In full: Lovely village, great pub and farmers' market. Race well marshalled & organised. Yes, there were ups, but there was also a nice stretch of flat/downhill to compensate. T-shirt and a medal was unexpected. Jolly good value.

In short: Great race, well marshalled.
In full: Haven't raced this far for a long time, but really enjoyed today. Nice cool weather with a sprinkle of rain to cool you down. Marshalling was great - I'd like to thank the 2 ladies near the 8 mile marker particularly - your support was very cheering & welcome! The hill got steeper the 2nd time around, but there are nice downhill/flat bits to counteract it. I would appreciate it, though, if the hill up to the finish line could be flattened for next time.

In short: Great race, marshals were very good, can we have less wind next time?
In full: I found the race a bit tough due to the wind (weather, not mine), but still managed a good time. Many thanks to all the marshals, there were some tricky bits (crossroad with the traffic lights, petrol station), but you managed them wonderfully. I liked the sweeties at the end! Great race.

In short: Wonderful race, you get so much for your entry fee!
In full: The sun was a bit fierce, which made it a tough one, and it was a bit up & down in the first couple of miles, but I wouldn't have missed this race for anything. The technical race t-shirt is lovely - a choice of 2 colours, and sizing that actually fits. Plus there were free fleeces if you got there early enough. The support along the route was good - and the cheers at the start were deafening. A nice goody bag with a water bottle and a quality medal. Plus a whole tray of yoghurts.

This is a very beginner-friendly race - plenty of people over an hour. And very well organised road closures. I will be back!

In short: Well organised, great flat race. Shame about the ladies' toilets.
In full: No complaints about the race itself; although I didn't hear the start announced, it wasn't a problem - if everyone else starts running, you do too! Nicely designed t-shirt, and a good flat course. A wee bit windy this year, but at least it didn't snow. The only let-down was the fact that the only ladies' loo I could find before the start was a *single* cubicle, with a queue of about 30 ladies! I did discover after the race that there were other toilets, but they need better signposting. Parking was not a problem if you got there in plenty of time.
