In short: Glad I made the effort to get out of bed. Very friendly. Well marshalled throughout and well signposted too In full: A great first time achievement for Tamworth. There was no danger of getting lost. As a back of the packer, I knew my place at the start so didn't encounter any problems. The hill was a bit of a sticky point. Liked the medal, liked then fact it was traffic free, liked the people.
Even the organisers were impressed by the number of people doing the warm up, although as it was bitterly cold, probably not unsurprising. Mr. Puff would have liked somewhere warm to sit and get a drink though :o)
An excellent way to start the year's running. Well done, Tamworth Date of review: February 21, 2005

In short: The stadium finish was electrifying. it was such a pick up at the end. In full: Fast, flat and loads of goodies for the tat chasers. Space blanket was very welcome, the welsh cakes were yummy, the medal nice and chunky. Downsides - grasscrete and cobbles. Ouch! Long queue for the free massages
