In short: Great race with great weather
In full: This is the first 10k race I have done however, being local I have already run most of the course with my training and the Park Run. There were no surprises and the course was well marshalled.

I was a little dissapointed that I ended up near the back of the group when starting as this meant that I didn't cross the start for about 15-20 seconds after the 'countdown'. This obviously meant a slower time than actually being run.

The whole event was great and I'll definately run again next year (weather pending). The only thing I would say is that the water station could have been more prepared. I was ready for a drink, shame they weren't ready to give me one meaning I had to wait...

In short: A fantastic race with huge amounts of support
In full: This is the first Half Marathon that I have ever run. For a first time experience, I had a fantastic day.

I am already eagerly anticipating being able to sign up for next years race...
