In short: A mudfest but well worth it
In full: Really well organised race with a really good atmosphere. Course conditions were tough as it was wet and windy and underfoot it was very muddy in parts. The guys at Tatton did a great job marking out all the hazards, roots etc.
Good support at the finish and nice medal.
Definitely one for the race calendar next year.

In short: Home HM, excellent organisation and fantastic marshalls
In full: My first go at the Macc Half and wont be my last. A challenging course which is superbly marshalled throughout. Hats off the everyone involved with the organisation. Great local support too. I'll be back next year in an effort to beat my time this year!
