In short: Challenging but beautiful route, superbly organised. In full: Drawbacks are the 9am start and having to collect your number. The 9am start means people can't get there by train from London. Collecting your number is a pain, even to someone relatively local like me. I would rather have my number posted than the Tshirt. Or pay £3 extra.
But as I said a fantastic route, with nice crowds along the way, including brass bands and ever so efficently organised - from the loos, baggage drop in the big hall to the marshalling en route. Date of review: February 25, 2015
In short: A nice rural route, but definitely an undulating one, not flat as claimed. In full: Would be good to send out race-numbers in the post, to avoid the busy registration. Also it would make sense to exploit the potential bonus of a train-station and start later eg. 9:45 - first trains from London, Tonbridge etc. don't arrive till 9:20. Would be good to get a UKA license too. Overall a nice up-and-down route down quiet lanes, really well marshalled and very friendly. Date of review: February 24, 2014
