In short: There are hills on this course!
In full: People seem to be critical of the hills on this course. Well, I did my homework BEFORE I entered.
I loved every step of it. Clockwork organisation, lots of improvemnts on last year's excellent race.
And I'm sure Steve Cram and his team are already looking at 2012.
If you want a fast course this is not for you. If you want. Great day out with great scenery and a very friebdly welcome, I'll see you next year.
Thank you to Steve Cram and his team, all the marshls, first aid, drinks stations, commentators, results people, massage therapists, and a whole host of volunteers. You now who you are and what you did. THANK YOU

In short: It just gets better
In full: I loved it from start to finish and from the comments I heard on the course so did a lot of other runners.
The new organisers have taken it to another level. Thank you so much to all concerned

In short: Poor organisation of the starting pend spoiled this
In full: In previous years there has been strict marshalling of the starting pens but that was missing gthis year and resulted in far too many slow people too near the front.
I've no onjection to people taking 6 hours to run the race but please give those of us who want to run faster a chance to do so

In short: It's a running event not a walk
In full: Any chance of a decent run was ruined by people who were clearly not equipped for the distance. Walking after 300 yards? What's that all about?

I was expecting to show my number to get in the right pen but with no marshals on the pens it was a free for all. End results: too many slow runners to near the front.

LM has had 30 years to get this sorted. Time it was.

In short: It's all about the cause for me
In full: As ever, Tony and Delia Cowell are to be congratulated on the quality of this race. It was warm and I struggled in the last 2 miles, but that's the price you pay for partying til late!
Excellent marshalling, plenty water stations and a super atmosphere.
But more importantly I hope the race has raised a ton of cash for the children of Chernobyl.

In short: Like clockwork
In full: An excellent day out at the seaside. Can't understand "Poet's" comments. Suspect she missed out on the prizes.............
Well done to everyone. Shame I couldn't stay with the 8 min pacer but that was my fault (lack of training)

In short: Outstanding
In full: After the difficulties last year with "Men in suits" making demands on the organisers, it would have been easy to say "Stuff this". But the organisers excelled. The road closure was a big help (though the open roads never caused me any problems previously).
Well done and thanks to all concerned
