In short: Pretty course, well organised In full: The race seemed decently well organised, the course was clearly marked and fun - a bit of undulation but each hill was over with very quickly, some lovely scenery through the forest. There were good facilities (parking, loos, changing rooms, refreshments stand, small sports-gear stall) and the people I met were nice. It seemed to me to lack a bit of atmosphere though - just a bit quiet, maybe the drizzly weather put off spectators from coming. I'd definitely do it again, and may make it a target race next year because it's a pretty PB-able course. Date of review: September 25, 2011

In short: 'Small village' atmosphere, family friendly. Lovely route, ~75% light trail with river views and a charming churchyard. Last 2-2.5km quite challenging/hilly. Well organised and controlled; slight problem with numbers failing to stick; not chip timed. Date of review: September 11, 2011
