2006 Chester-le-Street Men's 10K

In short: Mostly fantastic marshalls. Good flat course but windy on the back straight-can we turn it off next year ;)
In full: I enjoyed this race and despite finishing last still had the support of most of the marshalls-who really spurred me on to finish. Definately a PB potential course for those with speed! A few more water stations and perhaps accompanying bin bags on course would have been useful for water bottles etc.Definately be back to try this again-hopefully I won't be last!(Well, thats if I'm allowed to run it again!) Many thanks to Steve-you know who you are!

In short: Fantastically supportive marshalls :o) Great Race!
In full: Everyone was really supportive and patient with those of us a little slower in pace. They were also tremendously great when I had to pull injured. Definately want to try again next year! Fantastically organised, great value and the sweatshirt is definately worth it!

2005 Raby Castle 10K

In short: Did 5k course-fantastic day in glorious scenery.Marshalls were supportive and friendly.
In full: First time at visiting Raby 10k. I took part in the 5k fun run (single lap of the two lap course).
The views were fantastic and although I couldn't run it still had a throughly enjoyable time completing the course.
Encouragement from the marshalls was fantastic and they were still people coming in behind in fancy dress.
The race was followed by a picnic in the superb grounds of the castle.
Definately found muscles I hadn't used for a while and hopefully I will get a chance to run the course one day :o)
