In short: LDWA event for walkers and runners - tough route - well organised and great fo those new to going off road
In full: I've run a few LDWA events before and have always found them to be friendly and well organised - this was no exception. Tough but interesting route - checkpoints were well stocked with soft drinks and biscuits etc. I opted for the 20-miler which, in the muddy conditions, was plenty for me.

In short: A seriously good 1/2 marathon
In full: Yes it's tough (especially on a warm day) but it's well organised and runners at the front, middle and back are all equally encouraged and looked after. Hope to be back to run this again next year.

In short: Well organised friendly event - good to see it growing in popularity
In full: A fun run, not a race - try telling that to the group I was struggling to keep up with - very well organised low key friendly event - good for beginners and experienced runners alike - maybe I'll have a crack at the full marathon next time around (if I can get enough miles in my legs).

In short: South Downs splendour makes up for the toughness of the course
In full: I've run the full marathon four times now - lack of miles in legs restricted me to running the half marathon this time around - still a very tough but very enjoyable run - very friendly event - cakes at the finish much appreciated.

In short: A tough old race but don't let that put you off one of the friendliest off-roaders on the calendar
In full: My third time of doing this and getting ever slower - scenic but testing course - well organised and very friendly event - good test of duration and endurance.
