In short: Great fun and nicely challenging on the hills
In full: My first time at this event. Great organisation and helpful marshalls. A nice varied course through woods, on roads and along the coastal path. Not a 10k to get a PB on but then that's not why I did it. High;y recommended.

In short: A nice race spoiled by the good weather!!
In full: This was my first flat(ish) 10k and I posted my worst time ever. I think it was just too warm for me. It was very well organised and there was enough for the non-runners to do whilst waiting for me to return. Couldn't see the showers anywhere though. I'll probably be back next year. Friendly atmosphere amongst the runners which is part of the reason I enter events - not too clubby.

In short: Great Race
In full: My first time in the Wells fun run. I thoroughly enjoyed it and got my best time for 10k despite the rain. The is a hill between 3k and 4k that you have to repeat near the end which is pretty steep but not very long but that does not spoil an excellent race. Very well organised, enough water points and a bottle of water and a pen at the end.

In short: Course better than last year - start needs improving
In full: Apart from a bit of confusion at the start, I thought it went well. I much prefer this route to last year's although if I were a faster runner I might have found the narrow bit at the start a bit frustrating. A banana in the goody bag would be useful - perhaps instead of the technical wooly jumper that Reebok provided. The crowd were great - thanks for the additional motivation and the volunteers did themselves proud as ever.

In short: Well organised, nice and flat and a good atmosphere
In full: Given that they had set a 7000 entrant limit, I was a bit disappointed that only 600 bothered to enter. However, than didn't dampen the atmosphere and hopefully we'll all raise plent of money anyway. Well done Bristol Rotary.

In short: 'Flat' needs re-defining
In full: A very friendly race - my first 10k - but under no circumstances is it flat. Undulating is a fairer description. However, good organisation, lovely scenery and some very friendly runners en-route make this well worth adding to your calendar.
