In short: Worth considering In full: Great organisation - plenty of parking, toilets, marshalls. Generally good course but let down (badly) by the last mile or so which was on very narrow pavement meaning you couldn't overtake anyone. That last mile or so was bad enough to consider me not doing the race again so I hope they can sort it. Finish in the stadium was great but lacked atmosphere due to the crowd being too far away. Could have done as well with an organised route for spectators from the fun run start to the finish. Various mums had lots of problems getting to the finish in time to see their little ones finish. Overall excellant race but needs a few tweaks. Date of review: May 12, 2012

In short: A must do event In full: Great organisation - couldn't fault it. The weather was uncharacteristically appalling - heavy rain and ~40mph winds. But the organisers, helpers and marshalls were amazing. A great event and I recommend it to everyone. Date of review: April 29, 2012

In short: Excellant quiet course, well organised, well done Boston & District AC In full: A little gem in the flatlands of Lincolnshire. Plenty of parking, well laid out course. Only fault would be the positions of the water stations with the last one too near the finish. Definate PB potential so long as it does not get windy. Date of review: April 9, 2012

In short: Excellant race - I'd recommend this to anyone In full: Excellant organising. Plenty of parking spread around the city (so we were not all trying to get into the same car park). Well organised start. Plenty of marshalls around the course, water station well manned. Highly efficient processing at the finish. Will definately be back. The only downside is the results on the website. 2010 & 2011 results are the same and the fun run reults are not up yet. But that is technology for you. The event itself was great and I'll definately be back. Date of review: October 9, 2011

In short: Excellant, well organised and friendly event - definately one for by diary in 2012 In full: Great undulating course. I liked the small lap at the start, the out and back section and the undulations. The only criticisms were the too narrow section in the last quarter mile to the finish and the chaos of the momentoes (only the faster 10k runners got them, none for the slow 10k runners not any of us in the half marathon). But I run races the enjoyment of the races and this one is definately up there with my favourites. Hopefully be back next year to beat my time. Date of review: September 18, 2011

In short: Well organised and definately worth doing In full: Good course, very well organised, plenty of parking, not crowded at start or finish and a great set of marshalls. Same goes for the fun run which my son enjoyed thoroughly. Next year could you make it less windy please as well? Date of review: May 1, 2011

In short: A derserved pat on the back is due for all involved In full: Excellant event, plenty of parking, well marshalled. Course was plenty wide enough for the numbers involved. Having km markers rather than mile markers takes some getting used to, but maybe I'm just old. Hard to believe that this is the first running of this event. Well done to all involved in the organising of this one. Date of review: April 24, 2011

In short: Shambolic In full: What a shambles of a start and finish. The schedule for the various races was far too tight to be achievable. No one was informed of revised start times and the starts and finishes were simply chaotic. The poor kids were stood around for far too long, then subject to a far too vogorous warm up then had to wait ages for their start. The announcer at the stage also had the gall to shout at the kids for standing around and that they should keep moving. The organisation was dreadful. The adults race was equally chaotic. Too many runners for the course and start/finish. When announing that Lincoln 10k is in the top ten for 10k races in the UK. They should clarify that means for numbers of entrants, not for organisation and quality of event. Definately won't be back and hope the school challenges move to a different race in future as well.
