In full: I'd never done the Freckleton half before but everyone says how good it is and they weren't wrong. It's a fabulous event, very well organised, the marshalling is superb, the water stations cater for everyone and are plentiful and the support of local people was just fantastic.
Like the memento -I like variety.
Very well done to everyone and thank you

In short: Usual good, well organised race.
In full: The weather can be unpredictable at this time of year so as i've mentioned before in review I always carry some fluid with me knowing there is only one water stop. Last year it was cold so didn't need it but this year quite warm, anyway there was plenty water at 5 miles if you needed more.
As usual well organised and marshalled with plenty of encouragement too, thanks

In short: Third time I've done this and love the run -great marshalling -thanks.
In full: If you like Lytham St Annes and the coast then this is a lovely run, made better by having good weather. Some people find it a bit boring but I find it thoroughly enjoyable. The marshalling along the course was superb with everyone full of encouragement -many thanks. Yes, toilets are very limited and one or two more might be good -there are some in the town, Due to only one water stop I always carry something with me but putting the info on entry forms e.g."water stop at 5 miles" and a reference to limited toiletting might be useful. This won't put me off as I always enjoy the run.

In short: A very good local race
In full: A very well organised race, superbly marshalled -thanks to everyone who gave their time. A good flat course, occasionally exposed to the wind. Didn't appreciate the flooded road at 6.5 miles but couldn't be helped really -you just have to get on with it. Great memento - a cheese, ideal for Christmas and it's local too. Great value local run
