In short: The funnel marshall was abusive to runners..... Gone from being Chip last year to no chip this year, slow results
In full: wish I had done my local 10k today. Could not believe the abuse the finish marshall was giving to runners to keep in order (hope the race referee noted this). Very little info on website, still no results on line.... not overly impressed with the orgainstion at all today, may have to think twice about coming back.... On a good note all other marshalls were excellent, and the route and location is great.

In short: Simple, 1 very big hill some flat with mud and water and ruts followed by another big up hill and a lovely downhill finish, great support, very well organised with great support from the marshalls too.

In short: Todays Marshalls MADE the race - it was cold wet and windy and horrible, but all the marshshalls were on top drawer with their support
In full: Top race / plod very hard in the conditions but treat it for what it is and its a Spectacular race...

In short: Cannot argue with a 9 sec PB...... Chuffed, as usual Harldley Runners do not dissapoint with excellent organisation and fantastic marshals.
In full: Do not be decieved, this is not an easy course, but it is a great course, esp if like me you like rolling courses, I run faster and better on these type of courses and love it.
The RD did a great job, thanks to you and your team for a great event, I will be back next year (again).

In short: small things like the MILE MARKERS 1 and 4 so out by a full .2m - unacceptable for a race of this quality - tried reporting it to RD who siad well done on a sub 5mm and siad garmins are always out.... Im not capable of a sub 5mm
In full: Apert from this with the mile markers, this is an exceptional race with good PB potential, the memento was unique this year in a golden shoe, nice I like that.
Not sure about the compact start this year, but the finish area much better and less congested than previous years. As usual the marshall were excellent.

In short: All in all a very well ran club event for a decent half marathon.... a long (but not steep) hill at 4-5m and a drag at 10-11m, but still my overall PB course and favourite Half.

In short: The non-optional extras of mud and water this year made it an even better race - marshalls were so supportive esp as they were standing in the wet and cold. Excellent event even with the 2 hills, will be back again next year...
