In short: Great race, great scenery, excellent marshall support. In full: Did this as part of my marathon training so wasn't aiming specifically for any personal best times. By my Garmin,I got in on 2:19:08 which, considering I had 3 or 4 walking breaks (planned I might add!), I'm more than happy with. Date of review: March 20, 2005

In short: Speed Stripes in your hair an essential! In full: Well, a bit of confusion when I turned up because couldn't really figure out where the changing rooms were. When I found them, they were deserted and there was a loo unoccupied so did the business early. Then suddenly everyone else found the place so was inundated.
Excellent race. Still think I need to do a few more hills - that first one was OK but the one starting after mile 4 into mile 5 was down-right cruel!
Thanks to all who organised it. Even met the winner at the awards ceremony. Date of review: November 14, 2004
