In short: Great well way marked route and superb organisation
In full: This year was really a race of two halves. The first half was unbelievably hot and I very nearly gave up at Goring. After some good food and lots to drink I felt ready again so carried on for the second half. This was during the night and, although navigation was easy, the terrain was very awkward especially on sore and blistered feet. Welll done everyone who completed the event, and especially to Anthony, the TRA and all the marshals/CP people who made this event a success.

In short: The hardest thing I've ever done
In full: The feeling of acievement you get crossing that finish line is amazing. I can't describe the metal effort and physical pain I had to go through, but it was all definately worth it. Race organisation is superb and RD Dick Kearns does a 'Grand' job. Treat this event with respect and make sure you have a good support crew, I couldn't have done it without mine. Days later I am still hobbling round on sore feet and legs.

In short: A well organised event. Bit congested at the start. Could do with numbers on backs for the marathon runners. Lots of water stations. Could do with energy drinks/food for marathon route.
