In short: Slickly organised race, a goot test and great value for money
In full: No praise is high enough for the team who staged this in appaling weather. Many thanks to everyone involved, hopefully next year it will be drier!

In short: Great value for a half marathon, it sets the standard!
In full: Everything you could ask for from a race, big enough to have good atmosphere but there is still room to run even from the start, chip timing, a tech t-shirt, goody bag and a cup of tea at the end. One of the first races to go in the 2014 diary for me.

In short: A nice run in the country
In full: This race takes place over virtually empty country roads and seemed to be enjoyed by most who took part. It did suffer a little from the lack of pre and post race information but the decision not to even have a cup of water for runners when they finished the race especially on a hot afternoon was an incorrect one.

In short: That hill at 9k!!!
In full: A good test of your 10k fitness is how I would describe this race, a gradual climb around 6k with a short sharp surprise at 9k to see if you have got anything left. Your reward is a fast downhill finish. One for the connoisseurs rather than the "time tarts"

In short: A great start to a Suturday evening
In full: An enjoyable and testing course on virtually traffic free roads, less pressure to get a good time as this is not a PB course. Well done to the Roadhoggs

In short: If you want to race a marathon then this is a good event, less so for a day out
In full: I think a lot of the criticism is a bit harsh, the start was well organised and the time pens seemed to work as I was running with others at my pace almost immediately which is my biggest gripe with big city races. The running round traffic cones twice wasn't ideal but apart from that it was a fair and testing course. I am sure if even half the points raise on this forum are addressed it will be an excellent race next year for all the runners not just those who get round before it gets too crowded.

In short: Flat, fast and room to run - even from the start
In full: We didn't have a big city experience or pay to support the local village hall we just had pretty testing race. Great value for a decent run and well worth the trip over there. Thanks to the guys at Boston for hosting this.
