In short: Overall very well managed and executed. Big thanks to all the marshalls and organisers. In full: This was my first half marathon but I've done other running/MTB and duathlon events. This was very well marshalled. There was plenty of water stations. Plenty of direction markers. I would have liked a few more distance markers in the last mile as I was trying to pick my pace up for a sprint finish. Overall very well managed and executed. Big thanks to all the marshalls and organisers. Date of review: October 8, 2007

In short: This was my first run only race. Great scenery. Lots of mud which for me is great. A real challenge in terms of terrain (one of the hills required ascent on all fours in places) and certainly something to keep you focussed through the winter training Date of review: January 15, 2007
