In short: If you think you are in for a nice gentle stroll along the Thames, think again. This race is tough! In full: you should get a medal just for getting to start of this race. One look at the frozen lock and you may wish you were still in bed. Once you get started it is a lovely scenic route and all the runners are so helpful. Tough job done well by the marshals.
