In short: I always enjoy Watford. The scenery is great, the organisation is great, the atmosphere is great and the hills - they grate.

In short: Hard to rate a race which is cancelled. Would try again.
In full: Frustratingly the race was cancelled due to an overturned car on the course. Marshals did the best they could in the circumstances and have offered a refund. Point to note for other race organisers-plan for the worst! The council should have gritted the route better, the start time should have been earlier to accommodate any delays and still allow for a 5 hour cut off. Still trying to recover from the disappointment - just got to focus on the next target now.

In short: Rain, rain and more rain. Hilly but not really "tough". Pre race info could have included directions and details of where to get results from.

In short: This run is a perfect Sunday morning. No chance of a PB because of the hills and crowds so its just relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
In full: This run has great potential. Last year was its first and was good considering. The organisers learned and improved a lot and this year was great. Still some gripes about bottlenecks and km markers/timing but these are teething problems and if the organisers fix these I can see this event becoming a permanent fixture in my diary - and its all for a local charity so the moire the merrier. Well done 'Harry' Levy!

In short: The country side and "undulations" kept the boredom at bay
