In short: Great scenery and atmosphere and good organisation
In full: Good flat course with great scenery along the canal towpath. Race number pick up was well organised, marshalls friendly and encouraging and great atmosphere amongst the runners. 2nd year running this race and hope to be back again next year.

In short: Very scenic, flat course along canal tow path
In full: Good organisation from Purple Patch - lots of information before hand and on the day it all went smoothly. Friendly and helpful marshalls, scenic route, and definite PB potential all made for a great race.

In short: Great organisation and superb support and atmosphere
In full: The organisation of parking, picking up race chip, bag storage, toilets and starting line were fantastic, everything was just so smooth. The atmosphere was great and the support along the course was just brilliant. Will be back next year.

In short: Bit steep - both the incline and the price
In full: This was a challenging, off road half marathon with a small section on narrow, single file, woodland paths and the majority on wider woodland trail or grass.

The organisation for parking and registration was good. The unmeasured course and lack of mile makers was disappointing, especially for the fee paid.

I would probably return as I do like the location and it is a challenging course but would hope it was measured and the narrow sections revised.
