In short: A lovely Sunday morning run though the grounds of Cornbury, although I didn't see any deer

In short: Great organisation and a scenic race too.
In full: Despite the great low key feel to it, this race was very well organised and attracts some quality runners as well as plenty in fancy dress too. Even when the village hall's toilets were overwhelmed by the volume of runners using them, the organisers rapidly opened up the toilets in the pub. Fantastic support, not just in the main square that you run through 3 times, but also out on the course

In short: One of my all time favourite races- helped by a PB
In full: Excellent marshals who encouraged us round. Lots of them seemed to be from the local clubs which always helps. Plenty of drinks stations in the right places. Great organisation too, from the race pack to the website to the day itself. The traffic controls are a godsend and made me feel much safer on crossing the roads. Please extend my thanks to the turkeys and geese at Peachcroft farm who cheered us on too (just don't mention Christmas to them!).

In short: Great race for a PB and a full goody bag
In full: Well organised with friendly marshals, good support and one of the best commentators at a race I've heard. The worst bit is the narrow start but at least its chip timed so even that isn't too much of an issue.

In short: Excellent local support and well organised but what was that low cal Powerade about? Toilets were the worst I've ver come across in a western country.

In short: Very enjoyable race
In full: Those 2 or 3 little hills probably prevent if being a PB course, although the long downhill at the end might make up for them. Very friendly marshals and plenty of them although I didn't get told to cross to the right side of the road by a marshal- just followed the crowd. An earlier post mentioned he thought the 7 and 8km markers were missing. I saw the 7 but not the 8km. Very welcome bacon butty at the end and the shoe bag will always be useful.

In short: Very scenic for a road race
In full: Too many hills for a 10k PB but a very friendly well organised race with cheerful marshals. Nice mugs too at the end.
