In short: Perfect weather, a relatively flat course but unfortunately a fairly busy, crowded pathway to run along In full: Ensure you set off early as parking was a problem, onsite car park was full and no other carpark was suggested by the marshal we were just turned away. The side roads are all permit holders only. So plan ahead. Course was fairly flat with plenty of water, energy gels and cake stations along the way. There was a rowing event on, so unfortunately the path was extremely crowded with cyclists and walkers and had people carrying boats out of the water which took up the pathway, so not a good course for a P.B time. In short: A fantastic, fun course to run!! In full: A brilliant marked out course, with lots of variety of different terrain, mud sections were great fun, a very enjoyable, challenging course. Great that you had the option to run it as a relay team also. A welcoming atmosphere and fun event. The first year it had been run, and organisation needed improvements. Also falsely advertised as a marathon distance and it ended up being 20miles. Not many marshalls around the course, and could have done with a second refuelling station. Overall great on the course to run, but the 2 day festival weekend of camping, music and entertainment was a bit disappointing and didn't live up to what was advertised.
