In short: Fantastic Half for PBs with glorious views and downhill all the way
In full: +ve :- This was a friendly race and organisers did their best to cater for your needs. It was a first for them here too! Glad to have the bus option. I did not have any hassle with over-crowding (except at the end) and other trail users were careful and obliging. Scenery was superb if you were not running too fast downhill to miss it!
-ve: Thought it was expensive for a Half (£22 + £5 for the bus) but if most of this going to Childrens trust that was ok. Disappointed to miss out on my prize as first back in my category and still missed the presentation! Would have liked a goody or 2 (in addition to cheap medal and bikkies) e.g. fruit but probably race not sponsored yet?

In short: One of the worst organised races this year for me - organised by event managers not runners?
In full: Good points:-
1.Nice public park
2.Great opportunity for PBs
3.Convenient car park

Bad Points:-
1.Poor organisation for runners support (registration on day was take name only (not club) and £10 note of course!)
2.Lack of marshalls
3.No KM markers on route
4.Poor finish organisation with timekeepers missing some finishers and no proper finish funnel
5.No warnings to dog walkers and pram pushers that race going on - Therefore General Public were confused and inconvenienced in this public park
