In short: Fast course, excellent organization In full: Highly attended race, route is fast although not perfectly flat, organization was perfect, marshals all very nice throughout the entire route. Good race for a PB. Just a couple of suggestions: please consider a staggered start and add some more toilets! Date of review: March 29, 2013

In short: Undulating route, great organization, In full: I have run the past three editions of this popular race. It's simply an excellent event: great organization, marshalls are very friendly and cheer you up throughout the entire route; quick start/finish on the wide and large runway of the Dunsfold aerodrome (no bottlenecks despite over 900 runners); car park is huge and very well marshalled; lots of toilets; first 3-4 kms on the flat route inside the airfield, then a nice and undulating journey for 9-10 kms. Probably one of the best events in the County! Date of review: March 7, 2013

In short: Flat, fast and great support by marshals In full: Despite the horrible weather conditions and the strong wind, this no-frills race was very well managed by a group of cheery, polite, enthusiastic marshals. Nice medals and energy drink provided for a cheap entry fee. I was impressed by the quick publication of results on the website despite no time chip technology was used. The multi-lap race is excellent for PB as you always try and improve your time at each lap!

In short: Great route, horrible organization In full: Great route, scenery and PB potential. Route should be changed and shoud circumnavigate the entire lake without imposing a U-turn. The 10k distance was actually 9.8 km, please correct it. No time displayed on any screen once finished, although this was promised on the event's website. Non-sense finger time-chip to insert in a machine after the finish line. Please use clear sign-posts to direct 10k runners to the finish line instead of a poor marshal unable to manage the situation. Goodie bag simply outrageous (1 Gatorade drink and a medal) for an expensive entry price (18 £). No photographer during price-giving. I feel cheated Date of review: February 3, 2013

In short: Flat race, but not enough for a PB due to off-road and muddy route In full: Well marshalled; muddy race; staggered start was an excellent and smart decision; the the organisation should have pointed out more clearly that off-road shoes are the best option considering the race path(especially in case of rain the day before); initial distance markers were totally wrong; quite expensive entry fee (18.5 £) for a 10k race with no goody bag; beautiful Thames river scenery; very nice and pleasant atmosphere at the start/finish stands. In short: Undulating, grassland and off-road terrain, lovely scenery In full: The race was very well organised in a lovely park/estate. Not exactly as flat as advertised, I would label it as undulating on grassland/off-road terrain, hence not the ideal race for a PB. Parking/toilet facilities were more than enough (and clean), marshals were very efficient and polite. Please publish the final results on the internet, as I haven't found them yet.
