In short: Incredibly poor value for money though scenery made up fo it in part!
In full: I'm afraid if Fat Feet want to attract runners they are going to have to sharpen up their act value-wise by some considerable margin.
On the plus side the scenery was fantastic and the marshalls very friendly but the goodie bag did little to justify the name with a muesli bar, a nondescript medal and two energy gels - what happened to the t-shirt which was advertised?
The course was challenging with plenty of hills, one of my fellow competitors remarked that there seemed to be more uphill than downhill but my Garmin confirms that if anything, the opposite was true!
It is now two days since the race and there is still no sign of the results - very poor - I'm afraid Fat Feet have had the last of my money which is a shame as they have some lovely venues.

In full: It's amazing that a self confessed hill hater like me enjoys this race so much but I do! It's scenic with a fantastic atmosphere and is exceptionally well organised, one of my favourites!
