In short: The race of my year, every year
In full: I have to swallow hard every year when I see the £60 entry fee (overseas)!!! This is steep, and we only get half the information. No Marthon news in July/August. We actually have to pay to get an entry form for the ballot!!!

In short: The Great Scottish Run was my first race in 1998, and I have been back ever since, all the way from Switzerland!!!
In full: A great race, which has been shaddowed by the London marathon and the polarisation of the UK towards the South East corner.

With very limited funds the city of Glasgow, has continued to run a first class event. Passing though 3 of the cities parks.

A very flat fast course. Real pb potential. Also lots of pubs for long getting your excuses for not running a pb sorted out. Only an hour's flight from london, with lots of companies to choose from, including easyjet and Ryan air. Or even a train ride up the scenic west coast mainline.

Give it a go.
