In short: This would be my race of chloice for a yearly pb attempt
In full: I much prefer this race to Abbey Dash, why?
1) location, a lovely route and special finish in the castle grounds.
2)Seeding for different pace runners, means as a female sub 40 minute 10k you are not swamped and held up at the start.
3) Traffic free- well marshalled and policed, the city of Lincoln are making a great effort to make this the top 10k in the country, I commend them for this.
4) Crowd support is excellent
5)A range of differnet races attached, including wheelchairs mean an inclusive approach.
6)quick with the on line results and photographs after the race.

Yes I didn't experience the toilets and wasn't distracted by the innacuracy of the 9k marker as I have run the race before. No I love this race.

In short: Excellent marshalling, local friendly race, with a well organised fun run attached.
In full: Am very familiar with the course as it starts from where I used to go to college and goes past the scene of my first ever x country race!
The marshalling was excellent, although I hardly saw any police the visible marshalls were proactive and totally in control- couldn't all be down to the delightfully polite nature of Cheshire motorists.
In spite of the fact I never have a good run here I will keep doing it.

In short: This ranks as one of the highlights of my year because I have run it for the last 6 years and managed a pb each time. the course is fast and flat the organisation slick. Nowadays entries have to be in by the end of September to ensure a place.
