Weather looks good. Nice, mostly rural, course. Climbs steadily for the first half and then you can push it on the (mostly gentle downhill) way back. Negative splits guaranteed!* Enjoy! *WARNING - not guaranteed... |

Really enjoyed this year's race, having missed last year - in fact, on reflection, I didn't do any 10k races last year! Finished just ahead of the pile-up in the finishing funnel -- about 46 mins. Liked the new course but my Garmin told me it was only 6.09 miles so a bit short? Could this explain the abundance of PBs? Hang on, it was a different course, so everybody got a PB... Hope the guy who finished just in front of me and was then repeatedly sick is feeling better. A good, friendly race and I'll be back next year. | |
