Just hopping on to the 2015 thread to say a huge congratulations to you all. It was nice to see some of you again and hopefully meet a few more forumites next year.
Unless I find another Barista for next year I won;t be taking part again!!
Good evening all.
Thanks for the Pantri list. We have decided not to do the buffet option due to lack of interest but will have a few additional items on in the evening as well as the day menu to include Vegetarian Lasagne, Welsh Beef Curry (not sure the runners will want this one Friday night lol), Creamy Pasta, Vegetarian and Non vegetarian.
See you tomorrow.
Good evening all,
I know the majority of you are not too fussed about the buffet option at the Pantri on Friday night, and in hindsight it was a bit short notice. Maybe next year.
However, the Pantri will still be open serving Pasta dishes, Jacket Potatoes etc, plus veggie options so don't be disappointed, come early. We will be serving evening meals between 5 and 8.
See you Friday
Sir John a Lot. We are indeed a Coffee Shop but we do hot meals as well and will be open on the Friday and Saturday evenings.
I need some figures for Friday night peeps, as most of you know we are a small establishment and can comfortably seat 25 inside, 30 + if we have buffet style .
From our point of view a hot buffet would be easier to cater for if everyone is eating at the same time. My thinking is a hot buffet consisting of Soup and bread, Pasta dishes, Jacket Potatoes, Pizzas and various salad followed by Cake, tea and coffee. If we did it this way we would treat it as a private function as opposed to an open cafe. We would be looking at about ??20 a head but it would be an all you can eat buffet which would give good value for money.
Good evening all,
Just to clarify that the Pantri will be open until 8 on the Friday night and possibly 8 on the Saturday night. Pasta, Curry, Lasagne and Veggie options will be on the menu including delicious cakes for pudding and of course the best coffee in town. Bring your own beer if you wish on Saturday before you head off to the pubs.
See you soon
