BHB, I'd be up for a few tempo sessions.  We'll soon find you 30s/mile.  You're fast enough over 200m so it's just a case of making more of an effort..

PPP good to see you're mended.

BHB, "that guy who won the V50 at Christleton" indeed has some form including a 2.12 marathon and 62 HM!

We've had a couple of close races with results either way.  But on his day he seems to be able to remember how it should be done which makes him a class apart.  Fortunately (like Bashir and the many other V45+s who are much faster than me) he takes a while to get into form and doesn't race very often.

I know Andrew Green and believe it or not he thinks he's a stone overweight and plans to go faster as a V50 once he's down to racing weight.

Well run NI.  Great effort DTS, unlucky with the weather.

If anyone is looking to run sub 40 at GMR then look out for my lollipop sign at the start as I'm once again driving the sub 40 bus.  The standard is pretty low so 40 minute runners should get themselves in the "faster club runners" pen or just behind.

NI - if I did try the BS I'd much rather be part of your pacing team - especially as I don't know the route.  I'd be quite happy to help you along to a new BS world record if I could - certainly no dashing past you on the way back through Hazel Grove...  But I'll have to see how race calendar looks, foot heals up and fitness returns after VLM.

Like TB said the VLM GFA's have changed a bit.  Still doesn't seem to match up with any WAVA type measure:
