I think it would be good for any new to 1000 miles to benefit from the experience of the 1200 milers during 2016 so I vote for a shared thread
My training this year was for a few 10ks then a few halfs and then another couple of 10ks. But after two of the half marathons I got really bad pain in my foot. Tight tendon apparently and a combination of physio and complete (once a week) lack of running seems to have stopped the constant pain at least. So now I'm tentatively increasing the running again. Fingers crossed I'll be on the 1000 miles start line on 1st Jan!!
