I'd like to say a 'big' thankyou to the Bungay BDRC for arranging the perfect weather that we had for the marathon last Sunday,(1/4/07). Everyone was helpful and friendly and gave a great deal of encouragement up hill and over dale!! A really scenic route and good organisation fron start to finish!
Best of all was the lovely momento...I wish a few other race organisers would give a bit more thought to the medal/momento given on completion of a marathon...because Bungay did. It'll be a momento that I'll take great pride in putting on show and not tucked away in some old shoe box. Also, we were give a really nice hand towel of the event which was of good quality....and all of this for £12!!! Definitely the 'best value for money' marathon that I've ever done!
Thankyou to everyone in Bungay who made my day, a day to remember!

Like every one else I found the first half tough but most satisfying to get to 6 miles to know that it was 'downhill' from there onwards!! A great day with great weather and a great atmosphere! Definitely one to do again! Friendly and well-organized too...thanks!!
