Yes I have an excuse and it's all Micksta's fault!

Track sesh at IEK on Thurs (200m reps) and my hamstrings still hurt!!!

Erm, my race is next weekend, Bank Holiday Monday - thank god! Not in this weather!!!

Forced me to use the treadmill last night :o( I feel way off on that, wobbled everywhere and puff and panted! Don't know what's happening, but I was sure I'm faster now on road... maybe it's all my imagination.... oh, I'm not confident now!

Thanks ceal. Good luck for your races! I won't tell you the time Micksta's predicting for me, but let's say I was gobsmacked - I don't believe it mind you! There definitely will be a race report, promise!

Hello, just popping in to say hi. Jen, you raced again?!? Sorry you're disappointed with the result, but you can only do your best! One day it will all fall into place for you :o)

My training for the last week has gone very well. Slightly fewer miles this week at 29. I've fallen into a pattern now, where I run with Micksta about twice a week and those runs are really serious burns. Then the runs on my own, I just go easy/steady. Haven't done any fartleks/intervals at all, haven't been near the treadmill. Got my 1st race this year in 2 weeks. The Thurs before, I'll go down the track with Micksta to do some 200 reps, 30 secs would be nice, we'll see!

Tonight did a run with Micksta, 5.75M, same route as we did a month ago, but tonight it was 4:30 faster. Looks like it's working then!
