Well done on the 5 miles Leslie. Patience is the key and even though I'm the worst at having no patience with my training, I've been doing my best. I have gradually built up my mileage since last May where I was doing 3 - 5 mile runs and then by September up to 6-7 miles. The odd 8 mile run in October and November and now doing 7-8 mile runs 4 times a week, with the odd parkrun involving 2 miles warm up and 2 miles cool down. Hoping to do a 10 mile race in Londonderry on 5th March, so that's my target race now.

Kenny, have your club given up the organising of Roe Valley Trail Race this year? Will it be as friendly an atmosphere if Springwell aren't involved? Always loved this race when I was able to do it.
