There are so many things wrong with Lance Armstrong, it's difficult to know where to start...
How about when on the stage up Mont ventoux in about 2000, when Marco Pantani wiped the floor with him, Armstrong said at the press conference afterwards "He only won because I let him". Hmmm. Isn't humility met to be the mark of a true champion, not unbounded arrogance?
Or how about the fact that he bases his entire season around ONE RACE - not like Mercx, or Fignon, or the vast majority of the true great cyclists?
The guy's an A-grade *sshole, and I long for the day when he either retires or someones gives him the (cycling) kicking he deserves.

Well, off to see Metallica tonight. It's been a few years, so I hope that the disappointment that was "St Anger" isn't reflected in their performance....

I got some metal cufflinks, inscribed "22-11-03, England 20, Australia 17".
They are, of course, in the shape of rugby balls, and are totally fantastic.
