Marigold - Surely the QM win is as good as a sub 2.18 at VLM. Right call, me thinks.

Feels like spring is in the air today. Even saw a bit of sun but had to get inside, in case I got burnt.
These babies arrived in the post today. Can't grumble at that price (free socks too) and with another 10% discount using athleticos11 they were almost paying me. Most importantly they're red.

PP - Your clubmate doesn't look like he's working or he's just a low sweater . Is he the one that you beat? See you got the right side (chip) of 55 compared to Finchley.

Good for getting the long one done TR, even though you couldn't push it. This sub 3 train could be huge in 3 weeks time. If Dan gets his pacing wrong ;o) we could swallow you up too.

TR - I have the full kit kat selection (coconut, choc fudge and one other I can't remember). Could take them instead of gels next month. I actually think I'm in ok shape on much lower miles (maybe high 2.4x) but the lack of structure & long runs would have found me out if I went for it at VLM. Cranleigh came out 8bpm below mara effort and Fleet was a couple over. Nice efforts there.

Surely the beetroot juice supping will be starting soon as taper madness begins.

Hey Piscator. You're going we'll esp with that 12@6.15. 12m in training could be a good indicator of 2.45 shape.

11m with 6 x 1200 @ 5k pace was the plan last night. Had been dreading it all day. 3m warm up still hadn't prepared me for it either on an undulating route going off each mile thereafter (2min jog rec). Got it done but pace was nearer 10k than 5k, partly the hills and also lacking any speed at the mo. Not sure I could get 5k pace on the flat for that session. 6.40avg for the 11m.

Easter weekend starts today and out soon for a 13m whilst the sun is out. Dentist this afternoon for 2 fillings.

That's a good race TR but in Sept you can get any type of weather (prefer it warm for Tri). Tri is bliddy expensive too which helps my decision making so I won't enter many races. Nice double.

Welcome Simon.
