Well my tip was wear wellies not trainers. I thought it was the hardest off road ever but amazing marshalls who were so encouraging even though they were probably a bit fed up of standing in the cold by the time they met me.
Thank you to those people - they are one of the best things about running!!!
Great race, great T shirt, great mars Bar but, that mud.....say no more.
I'll be back - harder than Dursley Dozen in my op?
yeh karmus i agree - fantastic we did not get the predicted soaking and the new route works well.Congrats to the organisers - v smooth, really encouraging and super medal
I ran 13 miles (total) this week - really pleased, having broken 2 ribs 10 weeks ago it has been tough but I am getting there. Entered a 10k Sun 24 Sept and a hlaf mthon on Oct 22nd (stroud). I am almost back to however normal a runner can be!
Are you all well - was a hot weekend just gone so well done the NF runners!
