I'm 48 years old, as a youngster i ran for belgrave over 400m,fifteen years ago at a weight close to 17 stones i got talking to a gentleman in my pub called john turner (Bh&b harriers) who convinced me to start running again, over months of training i lost weight and got into some sort of condition to join him at his local running club dulwich park runners, the first night i took part in the 2mile  handicap, joint the club on the  Thursday and ran a summer league 10k race on the Sunday.since then Ive run over thirty marathons with a best time for London of 3hrs 22 minutes,Ive also completed the London to Brighton road race in 2001,my running at the moment is in a slump and quite honestly in need of some help and motivation,my aim like lots of runners is to get a life time goal of a sub 3hr marathon and ill need all the help i can get recently i ran at the k2 track over the marathon distance after a injury i must say to clock a time of 4hrs 44 Min's and 44seconds,I'm a willing bloke who will make all the efforts necessary, so bring on them coaches lets see how good they are with a not so over the top has been lol.hope a London boy called Stephen Fletcher can do all you proud at rw Ty
