@philpub - bringing this one out of the history books but it the post ranks highly on a Google search for Greenwich running clubs. Are you still involved with the club?What other days do they run on, or is it only based in the track session on Tuesday's? Cheers
Day 5 of Maffetone's two week no carb test, and must say I am finding it much easier than I ever expected. Quite often through the year I will give up refined sugar and sweets for a month but feel desire for chocolate pretty much everyday... I am still eating carbohydrates and fruit at those times
But by cutting out everything (as far as I am aware) I haven't felt any need or desire for any kind of sugar. Just got to make sure I have enough food around / prepared so that I am never hungry.
Could be a challenge over the weekend though. Especially as tomorrow will be spent watching the rugby at Twickenham. Going to be difficult to eat anything that isn't a burger and chips I fear!
