I am happy enough to self-time my run using an ordinary watch - given my current level of fitness I am likely to record my slowest 10K ever so the official results don't matter - but I do always like to know my times - hope there's no problem still running and getting a duplicate number. Still got Friday morning for the mail - at Midday I'm leaving for Brighton (always enjoy making a weekend of it) - think it's unlikely to come tomorrow - going back 4 months I used to get mail everyday - then they started the strikes and now we go for days without mail - think, actually, Streatham, where I live, they are actually still on strike - or, according to the news , " are operating a go slow".
Don't think it's allowed - I do have an entry but don't have a number or a chip - I imagine if I show my identity at the start they will give me a duplicate number but perhaps not a chip. Mail deliveries in my area are appalling. If I don't get a chip then I won't appear on the results list.
Haven't received my number, etc. Think the mail where I am (Streatham , London SW16) is still catching up on backlog since all the strikes - it's not unusual for things to take 3 or 4 weeks from other addresses in England.
